A proposal for a fairer and more just tax system

Efling – union invites you to an open meeting to present a report by Stefán Ólafsson and Indriði H. In it, the main causes and consequences of changes in direct taxation are explained. Proposals are presented for reform that would improve the condition of people on low wages.In the report, a reform proposal is presented to achieve a fairer and more efficient tax system in Iceland. The ideas aim at reversing the shift in tax burden onto those on lower wages, allowing for a reduction in tax of at least 20 thousand ISK per month.Breakfast will be served at 8:00.
