Efling calls a general meeting

Efling – union calls a general meeting on March 13th where the agenda will include preparation for the annual general meeting of Efling, including proposals for the amendment of laws. The meeting will start at 7pm and will be held in the assembly-room of Efling at Guðrúnartún 1, on the fourth floor.The annual general meeting of Efling will be held on April 29th, where, according to article 28 of the statute of Efling, laws may be amended if proposals for amendments exist. Article 35 of the same statute also covers amendments to the union’s laws, stating:“These laws may only be amended in an annual general meeting, given that the law-amendments are advertised as part of the agenda, and, furthermore, such amendments must be discussed in a general meeting at least one week before the annual general meeting. Should individual members wish to propose amendments of their own, their proposals must be submitted to the board of directors before the end of March each year.“Agenda:
