  • Developing, organizing and overseeing the general educational courses of Efling.
  • Managing courses for union representatives.
  • The marketing of educational courses, presentations and instruction.
  • The organization of regular educational events.
  • Collaborating on projects handled by the social- and development division, as well as the projects of other divisions within Efling.

Hiring standards:

  • Education and/or experience in the field of educational studies.
  • Experience with disseminating information and developing presentational material in Icelandic and English preferable.
  • Knowledge in the field of wage struggles is an asset.
  • Outstanding skills in human interactions.
  • Flexibility, ambition and discipline in work.

Labour organizerMain tasks:

  • Assembling a system of union representatives.
  • Work place meetings and the empowering of union members.
  • Participating in the organizing of events, publication and the dissemination of information to the members of the union.
  • Collaborating on projects handled by the social- and development division, as well as the projects of other divisions within Efling.

Hiring standards:

  • Education and experience which can be useful in the job.
  • Outstanding skills in human interactions.
  • Knowledge in the field of wage struggles is an asset.
  • Initiative, discipline and ambition to excel at one’s work.
  • Good English skills, other language skills are an asset.
