As of Monday, October 21, the parking lot at Guðrúnartún 1 will be managed by access control via a new system managed by Securitas. The parking lot will only be available to guests and staff of the house from 7am to 7pm on weekdays. Those who park there but are not visitors or workers in the house can expect to be charged a fee of 4,500 kr.The parking lot in Guðrúnartún 1 tends to be pretty full, and it’s nearly impossible to park there. Sadly, many who park at the house are not going there. This is why the new system is being implemented, to improve service and access of members.Licence plate number registrationUnion members in Efling, who visit the office, must register their licence plate into a portal that’s located in the reception of Efling on the 3rd floor, and will get a specific time allocated in the parking lot. A portal will also be available on the 4th floor, in the education centre of Efling, for those who are attending courses and meetings there.
