The Icelandic tax system

We would like to inform Polish-speaking members of Efling that is has been decided to only stream a course on the tax system in Iceland on Efling’s Facebook page on Thursday September 24, at 7pm -9 pm. You will therefore not be able to attend the course in Efling´s headquarters at Guðrúnartún  as previously advertised. This decision is made in light of disease prevention guidelines because of Covid-19. As before, viewers are given the opportunity to ask questions through the stream by commenting on it.Icelandic law and regulations regarding the national tax system will be covered in this course in addition to the responsibilities of taxpayers and the difference between wages and contractor payments. The preparation of tax returns, including deductions, will also be reviewed. The course is conducted in cooperation with the office of the Director of Internal Revenue (RSK). The instructor is Helgi Guðnason, expert in tax collection from individuals at RSK and interpreter is Wieslawa Vera Lupinska.
