Negotiating tactics – focusing on the negotiating committees of unions

This course will cover the process of negotiations, from the preparation to the finalization of the negotiating process – that is, preparation, the beginning of negotiations, conflict resolution, honest practices, reading into situations and ways to succeed, decision making, when a conclusion has been reached and how conflict between negotiating parties may be averted, and more.

The negotiating position of each party will be covered, as well as prioritization, the crafting of propositions and contractual leeway.

The purpose of the course is to train and prepare individuals to engage in negotiations so that they become adept at listening to the contributions of others, at collective decision making and at being content with the conclusion.

It takes place on October 7th of 2021 from 9am to 12 o’clock noon.

It takes place at Guðrúnartún 1 Fee: xxxxxxx kronas.
