Description

Summerhouse just outside Hólmavík, within walking distance along the shore. The house is 50 sqm. with three rooms, two on the ground floor and one on the upper floor (the attic). Kitchen and living room are in one area on the ground floor and another living room is on the upper floor with a sofa bed. Bathroom is with shower and washing machine. 7-8 people can sleep in the house, there are double beds in two rooms, two single beds in one room and a sofa bed in the living room on the upper floor. Duvets and pillows are for 8-10 people and tableware for 10-12 people. The house is well equipped with, TV, radio, refrigerator, oven, microwave and a washing machine, grill, outdoor furniture and everything needed for cleaning. The house is in a beautiful location down by the shore between Hólmavík and the golf course. There is no hot tub or dishwasher.

Hólmavík is the largest town and service center in Strandir. In Hólmavík there is a swimming pool, a golf course and many fishing lakes around where you can buy fishing permits. The fishing card is valid e.g. Haukadalsvatn in Haukadalur. And a visit to The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery & Witchcraft is worth the visit. Swimming pools in the vicinity of Hólmavík are in Drangsnes and in Bjarnarfjörður, Krossaneslaug and the pool at Reykjanes in Djúpi.
