SA (Confederation of Icelandic Enterprise) on behalf of the oil companies Skeljungur and Olíudreifing have agreed to implement a special payment for driving with dangerous materials (ADR), with a disclaimer regarding whether the mediation proposal of the state mediator which was presented today will be approved.
The payment will be 175 kr. on all hours of work and will start from February 1 2023. The payment will be added to other negotiated employment terms and other increases that are included in the mediation proposal.
The implementation of ADR-payments was the main demand of oil truck drivers in the labour dispute between Efling and SA. Special payments for driving with dangerous materials have been a demand of drivers in Efling for decades.
