In Starfsafl’s meeting on November 16, the decision was made to only accept confirmation of payment from Icelandic banks for applications for educational grants. All applications must be accompanied by confirmation of invoice payment, and after November 14th all payment receipts for invoices issued after that date must be from an Icelandic bank.
Therefore, it will not be possible to process applications for educational grants with confirmation of payment from foreign banks. We will still accept invoices where payment is confirmed on the invoice itself and payment confirmations from Icelandic banks. Starfsafl provides grants to union members employed in the private sector (SA).
