Efling Community Center // Thursday March 30 @ 6pm 

Hotel workers in Efling Union are invited to a unity meeting in the Efling Community Center (4th floor, Guðrúnartún 1, 105 Reykjavík) on Thursday March 30 at 6 pm! 

Refreshments, interpretation, and great company! House opens at 5:30 pm. 

On the agenda: 

  • Meet and greet + discussion of our last round of collective bargaining. 
  • Address from Sólveig Anna Jónsdóttir, chairman of Efling Union. 
  • Overview & explanation of the new wage table valid from Nov 1 2022. 
  • How to vote for a union rep in your hotel and what the role of union rep is. 
  • Getting ready for the next round of collective bargaining and how to continue the fight of hotel workers.
