As of this month, the working week for shift workers in the public sector and care homes is shortened. This changes the structure of the wage bill considerably, and it can be hard to understand the total effect. Efling has therefore created a calculator to compare the old and new shift plan, to see the difference in wages. The shifts are entered into the calculator as they were before May 1, and as they are now, and monthly wages for the next year are shown. The calculator is accessible via app.efling.is/vaktareiknir
