Are you looking for a new job or thinking about what to do next?

This session is for Efling members who want to improve their job search skills, update their CV and applications or explore new opportunities.

Topics will include:

• finding jobs that match your experience and goals
• reading job advertisements and tailoring your CV and application to the role
• highlighting your experience, skills and strengths
• preparing for interviews and planning your next steps

The main part of the session will be led by Kristín Erla Þráinsdóttir, Head of Guidance and Validation of Prior Learning at Mímir. She has extensive experience in educational and career guidance and supporting people with their job search. There will also be a brief introduction to Efling’s support for members facing job loss or considering career development, including training grants and study opportunities.

Participants will have the chance to ask questions and share what learning opportunities and support they would like Efling to offer in the future.

The session will be held in English with Icelandic interpretation and is free of charge. Slides will be available in Icelandic and English, and questions are welcome in either language. Parking is available at Guðrúnartún 1. Efling will cover your parking during the event if you enter your vehicle registration number in the registration form.
