The Delegate Council of Efling urges Efling members to attend the solidarity rallies in large numbers, to be held at Austurvöllur and across the country on Saturday, September 6, at 14:00, under the banner ‘A Nation Against Genocide’.
For an unbearably long time, the public has been forced to watch live broadcasts of the killing of innocent people, civilians, and children. The Israeli army has, on every single day for almost two years, killed an average of 28 children — equivalent to an entire class in primary school.
The Delegate Council demands that the Government of Iceland take immediate and decisive action on the international stage to stop the genocide committed by the Israeli army against the people of Gaza.
