The course is intended for Efling unions that work in care and provide assistance, care and support to patients, disabled and elderly, both in homes and in institutions.

In the course, emphasis is placed on practical knowledge that is useful in daily work in health and social services. Topics include assistance with activities of daily living, communication, workplace culture and self‑empowerment.

The vocational courses are held in cooperation with Efling and Mímis continuing education and are preparation for studies in social work bridge. The education is two‑part and consists of vocational courses I and II with a total of 190 teaching hours. Participants must complete the previous course before they continue to the latter.

The course is free for Eflingmembers who work for public employers, as Efling pay the course fee. It is important to enter the payment code efling15 and click on "Add payment code to application".
